For an Art college project (but more of a personal reason!), I went and re-designed the Assassin's Creed 2 game jacket art for the Xbox360. Might add a few touch-ups later but for now I think this works.
I like the colors and everything, but personally I feel you could have done more with the front. The roman numerals look a little out of place and have bright color contrast compared to the rest of it. The front design is nice, especially for being typography and effects, but it doesn't seem to convey anything the game if about really. Having the creed symbol is a nice touch and the back looks professionally done as well. The last thing that bothers me is that it looks like the spine text isn't properly centered and it a bit boring.
Also, where on Earth did you get that purple case. I want it.
I suppose that is so about the cover. I know on the original one we have Ezio and I guess that tells a little of the game at least. However, I wanted to go simple with it as I did have another design but it lacked much more then this and felt having so much traffic on it would be worse to have. I completely agree with the spine though, I didn't know what I could do with it in the end. Plus the text is centered, but due to the texture it makes it look like it's off.
And I bought the game as used from GS so thats why. They gave mea shitty cover that you get when just get the game and they have to provide the case and such.
Well jeeze, that texture really irks with me on the spine then. The text on the spine though, possibly resize it and change the font, I'm not sure what you can do with it honestly.
Overall though it looks great. Much better than what I could do. I've got a case for Front Mission 4 that needs some cover-art. What type of paper did you print that on?
Luster photo printer paper. If I remember it was an Espon brand. I don't know to much but thats all I can remember. I used me colleges printer station so :3.
